Formerly a mere 80 proof, Wild Turkey 81 Proof is made from the classic Wild Turkey high-rye mash bill and aged 6 to 8 years in #4 alligator char American oak barrels.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Toasty buttery oak and toasted almonds with honey, vanilla fudge, maple, tobacco leaf and cinnamon spice.

Taste:

Considerably mellower than its 101 sibling but with generous toasty character and rye spice. Sweet maple, toasted almonds, vanilla fudge and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Caramel with dry cedar wood, maple syrup and lingering gentle spice.
