Aged in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being divided and re-casked into 25 year old sweet Palomino Fino sherry butts and 1980 first-fill bourbon casks. The whiskies are then married together in ex-bourbon barrels before finally being transferred for finishing in Portuguese ex-tawny port pipes. Read more

Deep, coppery golden amber.
Linseed oil rubbed leather, marzipan, vanilla, dried apple and mango with faint liquorice and coffee fudge.
Rich and honeyed with candied orange peel, liquorice, dried fruit/fruit cake and amontillado sherry.
Sweet maple syrup, dried apricot, golden syrup and honey with candied ginger and white pepper spice. This malt is a real sweetie.
