Ernest & Julio Gallo (E&J Gallo) is the world's largest winery and produces a range of wines, sparkling wines and brandies.

Named after the company’s founders, Ernest and Julio Gallo, and first sold in the USA in 1975, E&J V.S. Original is one of the world’s best-selling brandies. E&J Original is distilled from Californian grown French Colombard, Folle Blanche, St. Emilion and early Barbera grapes.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Sugary candy floss, apple cider, fresh green apples, green grapes, papaya and faint orange marmalade.

Taste:

Apple cider, dried apricot, marmalade and prune and plump raisons with notes of mince pie and moist fruit cake. Prune fruit honeyed sweetness is countered by assertive cracked black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Sweet fruit cake, cinnamon spice and black pepper spiced oak. The finish lets down the fruity palate.
