Described by Brew Dog as being an “explicit imperial ale”, Brew Dog Hardcore IPA is brewed with Maris Otter, Crystal and Caramalt malts and is heavily hopped with Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and the dry hopped with the same hop varieties. OG: 1083, IBU: 150

Appearance:

(sample batch 202, best before 24/06/15) Clear, deep coppery amber with retentive off white head leaving heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Pine and grassy hops, caramel with grapefruit and faint peachy fruit.

Taste:

Full-bodied, dry and bitter with generous piney hops but not as hardcore as the name might suggest.

Aftertaste:

Dry piney finish.
