Appearance:
Clear but almost opaque, deep teak brown.
Aroma:
Crushed mint leaves, cherry, tree bark, fennel, liquorice and eucalyptus.
Taste:
Firmly on the bitter side of bittersweet. Strong menthol, bitter barky notes, fennel, liquorice and eucalyptus with cinnamon and nutmeg spice.
Aftertaste:
Bitter finish with eucalyptus and menthol. Overall: Initially intensely bitter as your palate adjusts this Fernetâ
