A premium strength London dry gin distilled with eight botanicals: juniper, star anise, Saville orange, orris root, cassia bark, angelica, Sicilian lemon and coriander. It is named after the 8th and last of the Gin Acts.

Known as the Tippling Act, the Gin Act of 1751 modestly increased duties on distilled spirits but doubled the price of a retail licence to £2 and specifically made that licence only available to inns, alehouses and taverns.
