Review and Tasting

Sampled on 20/09/2015

Appearance:

Clear, light-mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Vanilla, dried fruit, Jaffa Cake filling (zesty orange) and honeysuckle blossom with nutmeg, chocolate, caramel and butterscotch.

Taste:

Big, heavy and full-bodied. Dry spicy and chocolaty oak with zesty citrus, apricot marmalade, attractive white blossom and violet floral notes, fig, honey and nutmeg.

Aftertaste:

Earthy dry oak, apricot marmalade, chocolate biscuit, prunes, honey and black pepper.

Overall:

A zesty orange Jaffa Cake and floral honeysuckle blossom nose leads to big, full-bodied palate which fades with earthy dry oak, apricot marmalade and black pepper.
