Due to the bodega's location on the Guadelete River, close to the ocean, Gutierrez Colosia boasts a very active year-round flor and saline character. This fino is aged for a minimum of 3 years under this very particular flor.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden with faint green tinge.

Aroma:

Faint marine saltiness with toasted almond, yeasty pear, chamomile and faint sultana.

Taste:

Dry with more marine saltiness, toasted almond, green apple and toasty white baguette crust.

Aftertaste:

Long dry finish with lingering acidity and marine saltiness.

Overall:

Dry, but not as bone dry as some finos with marine notes usually associated with a manzanilla. Attractive yeasty white toasty baguette crust with pear, apple and toasted almond.
