Review and Tasting

Sampled on 20/01/2016

Appearance:

(sample 28/Nov/16) Clear, deep amber with quickly diminishing head but good lacing.

Aroma:

Wonderfully aromatic fresh cut grass hops and bready malt with grapefruit zest and faint clove.

Taste:

Medium bodied. Pronounced bitter piney and grassy hops with zesty grapefruit and peachy fruit over bready malty base.

Aftertaste:

Long pine and grapefruit finish with some lingering grassiness.

Overall:

A British pale ale with extra zippiness courtesy of American hops contributing grassy, zesty and piney flavours with accompanying assertive bitterness, but not overly so. Made more attractive due to pleasing bready and peachy fruit flavours.
