Appearance:

(sample batch 01. 2015) Clear, deep maroon red.

Aroma:

Black tea leaf infused blackcurrant Ribena with light black pepper tingle. Faint notes rolling tobacco pouch and chocolate.

Taste:

Dry. Rich blackcurrant fruit dried with pronounced fruit acidity, black tea leaf tannins and light black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Long fruity and spicy finish with rich blackcurrant, black tea leaves, black pepper spice and fruit acidity.

Overall:

Like us, those of you brought up on Ribena and with a love of cassis with appreciate this dry spirituous take on the theme.
