Review and Tasting

Sampled on 20/09/2017

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Zesty orange and peachy fruit, nutty wood, linseed oil putty, vanilla and light spice. Hint of burnt wood rather than smoke.

Taste:

Surprisingly light in body. Dry, earthy, grassy, nutty and moderately spicy (cinnamon, nutmeg and white pepper) with balancing rich fruitiness – particularly orange. Rounding vanilla and chamois leather notes.

Aftertaste:

Lightly spicy, grassy and woody finish with vanilla and orange.

Overall:

Dry, earthy, grassy, nutty and moderately spicy with just enough rich fruit and vanilla.
