Appearance:
(sample bottle best before 31/Jul/18) Crystal clear with rising bubbles.
Aroma:
Quinine and minerality with faint aniseed and zesty lemon.
Taste:
Zesty lemon, salt and quinine with faint floral notes.
Aftertaste:
Salty, lightly sherberty lemon finish with quinine dryness.
Overall:
As the name suggest, salty zesty lemon flavours predominate in this citrusy tonic water, which should not be mistaken for a ‘bitter lemon’, but is perhaps worth considering in place of a bitter lemon.
