Appearance:

Clear but so dark that almost opaque, deep brown.

Aroma:

Pungent heavily roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and peppery spice.

Taste:

Thick syrupy yet balanced rather than overly sweet with assertive, lightly bitter coffee, faint chocolate, chicory and peppery spice.

Aftertaste:

Long, powerful coffee finish with light spice.

Overall:

A highly concentrated and very flavoursome coffee liqueur with robust espresso flavour. Lesser coffee liqueurs appear thin and bland in comparison.
