Clear, blight golden with a thin head which quickly diminishes.
Ripe peach skin with faint white bread. Very clean.
Light-bodied and, for a flavoured beer, well-balanced with peach flavours dominating subtle soft white bread maltiness and light hop bite.
Peach flavours are most prominent on the finish – perhaps overly so.
This light lager does what it says on the tin, it’s “beer cut with peach” and for those that want a peachy flavoured lager, then Jubel should appeal. What’s alpine about peach? The “Alpine” on the label is a reference to where the founders were when they decided to make this beer which is designed to sit "between bland beers and sweet ciders."
