According to its back label, this “light amber best bitter” “takes its name from a town within the high Arctic.” This was the first beer brewed by Andwell Brewing on 10 October 2008.

Review and Tasting


Sampled on 04/11/2018

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 11/Sep/19) Clear, deep amber with moderate tan head and fair lacing.

Aroma:

Caramel and toffee apple.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Caramel malt with a touch of toffee, ripe pear fruitiness, and lightly bitter earthy hops.

Aftertaste:

Lightly bitter toffee apple.

Overall:

Slightly sweet pear and apple fruitiness, caramel and mildly bitter grassy hops. An easy drinking session bitter.
