Brewed with English barley and Tetley's double strain of yeast, this ale has a long established name but is modern in style and lighter than a traditional ale.
Sampled before 1st May 2011
Clear, golden amber with a thick white head and good lacing.
Hay and biscuit-like maltiness with floral, grassy and orange citrusy hops.
Light to medium-bodied. Toffee malt with floral, grassy and subtly lemon hops.
Lightly bitter lingering floral and grassy hops.
Light in style as English bitter ales go with refreshing floral, grassy and citrusy hop bite.
