Bloody Ben's Gin is truly crafted in a micro-distillery – the small copper still that sits in the bar area of Ben’s Canteen in Earlsfield, in South West London. The Canteen is an all-day neighbourhood restaurant and bar run by Ben and his team of gin lovers.

The botanicals used to flavour Bloody Ben's Signature Gin include floral honey sourced from nearby Wandsworth.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/02/2019

Appearance:

(sample bottle batch No.1) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent. Overripe banana, banana chews, orange zest oils and cinnamon.

Taste:

Slightly aggressive spicy palate with assertive orange oils, pine and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Orange and cinnamon continue through the long spicy finish.

Overall:

The distinctive yellow and blue pastel shade label perhaps suggests a summery gin, but this gin’s cinnamon and orange oil flavours are perhaps more fitting with the festive period than summer.
