Review and Tasting

Sampled on 11/12/2019

Appearance:

(sample bottle exp. Dec/20) Hazy, pale amber with very thick and retentive fluffy white head.

Aroma:

Zesty grapefruit and lemongrass, passion fruit, cracked black pepper, lavender and rhubarb.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied with high carbonation. Tart rhubarb, passionfruit, unripe gooseberry with coriander, lavender and cracked black pepper.

Aftertaste:

Cracked black pepper, unripe pineapple, passionfruit and cut grass.

Overall:

A huge 9.5% alc./vol. hop-forward beer but with such balance, pose, fruitiness and invigorating black pepper and herbal spice that's so easy, it's almost quaffable.
