Distilled with molasses spirit infused with 12 botanicals including
juniper berries, Sicilian lemon, Seville orange, White Korean ginseng, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root and, perhaps most notably, Chinese green tea.

The founders of this gin were inspired by travelling in China and the Middle East to create a gin made with botanicals sourced from along the Silk Road routes with green tea being a key botanical.

The Green Genie name was similarly inspired, particularly by a visit to a Bedouin tented village in the south of Egypt. Tales of the magical 'djinn' or genie were recounted around the campfire and the images of lamps and genies conjured up lingered for years after.

Appearance:

Clear, bright amber.

Aroma:

Green tea and piney juniper with zesty orange and nutty woody angelica root.

Taste:

Green tea imparts its flavour and dry tannins to this citrusy piney juniper gin.

Aftertaste:

Long dry finish with attractive green tea and piney juniper.

Overall:

Dry tannins amplify spirituous spice and perhaps overinfluence this green tea-infused gin.
