Released in January 2011, this 2002 vintage was made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir 50%. The Pinot came from the Montagne de Reims: Verzy, Mailly, Ambonnay, Verzenay, Ay and Bouzy. The Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil sur Oger and Chouilly. Read more

Appearance

Clear, light golden yellow with green highlights and a steady stream of fine, persistent bubbles.

Aroma

Peach, green melon fruit and buttered biscuit with floral honeysuckle, apple blossom and acacia honey.

Taste

Ripe green melon notes continue into the complex palate which also has buttery flavours.

Aftertaste

The fruit notes turn more plumy in the long finish.
