Kinnie is a bittersweet carbonated soft drink brewed from bitter oranges and wormwood extracts. It is made and very popular in Malta, where it is pronounced 'kin-i' and considered the "national soft drink."
First introduced in 1952 by the brewery Simonds Farsons Cisk, Kinnie continues to be made by Farsons in Mrieħel, Birkirkara, Malta.
