Last round in oneUNIT's 2020 cocktail competition

The final stage in the oneUNIT competition invites bartenders in the Netherlands to enter a cocktail that contains no more than one unit of alcohol for their chance to win a cash prize and a spot in the grand final.

The last stage in oneUNIT's qualifying rounds is now open for entries until 19th August 2020. This round will be judged by a jury consisting of leading bartenders, including Mads Voorhoeve and Mister Cocktail, while Misja Vorstermans will serve as compère. There's no time to waste in creating your one unit cocktail. Enter by 19th August 2020.

The judges will be scoring against appearance, taste and balance, complexity and originality, replicability, concept and online presence. Entrants are also encouraged to share their creations on social media to gain extra points.

This competition is for Dutch bartenders only.

How to get involved?

Open for bartenders who are Dutch residents, entrants must submit their concept, motivation and recipe before 19th August 2020. Six bartenders will be selected to compete in the final of this round, to present their cocktails to the panel of judges and will take place at The Rumah Rotterdam on 1st September 2020.

The winning bartender in this last stage will receive a cash prize of €250 and earn a spot in the grand final of the 2020 oneUNIT competition, which will be held during the Horecava in January 2021. There, they'll compete for the top spot and the opportunity to become the face of the oneUNIT campaign in 2021.
