The C.F. Berger distillery was founded in Couvet, Neufchâtel, Switzerland in 1823 and produced several Swiss style absinthes, the most famous being the C. F. Berger 65º degree absinthe verte.
The distillery closed shortly after the Swiss absinthe ban of 1910
