Winchester Cocktail Week

Winchester Cocktail Week is inviting you to sample the best of Winchester's cocktail scene.

Workshops, masterclasses and parties are on offer during the festival from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th February 2017.

Over two dozen of the city's retailers and hospitality outlets are throwing open their doors during the festival. Wristband holders will be able to enjoy discounted signature cocktails as they make their way around the City.

It's the 2nd year of the Cocktail Week which aims to showcase the best bars and drinks in Winchester.

It's being delivered by Winchester locals Gary and Marcus who produce 'enlightening experiences for food and drink lovers in and around Winchester' - they believe that everyone should indulge in a little bit of what they fancy, as often as they can! Find out more here

-Signature Cocktails - premium mixed drinks for just £4 when you show your wristband

-An exclusive cocktail syrups workshop with award-winning Naked Jam at Two Bare Feet

-The Pothecary Parlour, a pop-up gin tasting at Jane McIntyre Design & Eccentricities

-Authentic Brazilian caipirinhas at the Old Vine with Ypioca Cachaça

-"Get to Grips with Grappa", a masterclass in Italian brandy at Toscanaccio with Nonino

-A Caribbean Night at the Mucky Duck hosted by Angostura Rums

The Winchester Cup Bartender Competition

Also featuring at Winchester Cocktail Week is the Winchester Cup Bartenders Competition.

Open to bars within a 55 mile radius of the city the competition gives the shortlisted bartenders the chance to perform in front of a trade audience, with the Winchester Cup up for grabs as well as a prize for the winning bartender.

The creative use of local ingredients is at the forefront of the competition as well as a friendly local competitive spirit!

Entries for this years competition, which will be held on Monday 6th February on the opening day of Winchester Cocktail Week, will close on January 16th.
