Recommend using 3 drops if the vanilla essence you're using has a stronger flavor, and 5 drops if it's milder

Delicious take on the 20th Century drink. Perfect amount of cherry, doesn't overpower. We used Hayman's Old Tom as our gin of choice, which adds a hint of sweet and not as juniper forward. Also found that pineapple juice as an alternative to lemon made for a tasty and different twist to the cocktail. Cheers!
