Not unlike its counterpart in Amaro Nonino, this is a very subtle and understated aperitif. It occupies roughly the same space as Aperol, but in a much more nuanced and elegant fashion, although both obviously have their place. There is light gentian bitterness, a hint of citrus, and am undercurrent of sweetness. Overall a delicious example of aperitif, but like Amaro Nonino, it might get overwhelmed by more boisterous flavors.
