I used Beefeater gin, Luxardo Apervito, Tribuno Extra Dry, and my recent acquisition, Lazzaroni Maraschino, which I greatly prefer over the Luxardo Maraschino. It's just such a softer, more mellow taste I find. I haven't tried Maraska yet, but I ought to.

Must try the Lazzaroni, seeing it available locally. Will keep an eye out for the Tribuno. Beefeater is my usual go to. Thanks for the reply.

The Tribuno isn't a high recommend from me. It was literally the only dry vermouth my local liquor store had in stock after I ran out of my Martini & Rossi. I don't mind it and it hasn't hurt any drink I've mixed with it. The Lazzaroni however is my new go-to. It won't be for everyone because it is so much more mellow, but I fell in love with it.
