These are great suggestions, but they rely on using a sugar-free syrup, which doesn't always lend itself to the traditional style of the cocktail. There are new brands of liqueurs available like Dapper Barons that have a near sugar-free profile, which might fit more smoothly into these recipes. By using an actual liqueur, you can capture the balance of the traditional cocktails.

Worth noting that a “liqueur” must have a minimum sugar content of 100 grams per litre.
