This is an outstanding white Agricole. I have always loved Martinique rhum. That was the first bottle of rum I ever bought. Plan to use it in many cocktails in place of the other white or light rum. I agree, this is an acquired taste, but well worth developing.

This sounded wonderful! I bought a bottle and I really dislike (hate) it! I should have read review more closely. It states a grassy taste and I really hate grassy taste in other drinks (including coffee) so no wonder I don't enjoy this. For me, it almost has a tequila or vodka taste. Not what I expect from rum..

The grassy flavour is a typical note in Agricole rums which are produced from the juice of sugar cane - sugar cane is a type of grass. Sounds like you should avoid Agricole rums and stick to rums made from molasses.
