Interesting, posted this in a cocktail community, with DG and the Salon 39 as reference and someone asked if it was a small riff on the "Mistaken By Strangers" from Misty Kalkofen from Boston, Brick & Mortar Bar. Same drink, same ratio, just without the bitters. Served in a rock glass, but also without ice.
And it's a really nice one btw, first 1-2 sips I wasn't sure since the flavour combination is quite unique but really liked it after that.
Sadly I didn't record the date I discovered this cocktail but the earliest doc I have with the recipe is dated 12-Feb-215. It would be good to know when Mistaken By Strangers dates from.
