I have begun ordering Bitter Truth Pink Gin by the case as it is so popular with our guests. We often send them home with a bottle. It is rather hard to find in most liquor stores. Made by the German company that makes Bitter Truth bitters, it has a perfectly balanced formula, so it is delicious just over an ice cube. When served with tonic, it would be closer to your recipe, as the tonic adds the sugar.
