I can't tell if I got a bad bottle of this, or I just don't like it. It doesn't smell good, and every drink I've made with it so far has some kind of odd/"off" note(s)... I just made the Mother Rum cocktail and I got a strong rubber-like note, almost like I get from Smith & Cross sometimes... I used Bacardi 8 year for the rum, and I've liked every other drink I've made with Bacardi 8 without ever getting any sort of "off" notes so I can only think to blame this Bols liqueur... Weird.
