Since we were discussing Cardamaro, I just tried a mini one of these with Cardamaro 2:1 to gin and grapefruit bitters, borrowing from The O.G.

In a sense any red aromatised wine would do, eg Dubonnet, as long as sub in some bitter companion…. Damn I’m out of Suze!
