The Democrat
The base spirit is inspired by Harry Truman, 33rd President, who only drank bourbon and is considered by some to be, "the last great Democrat."

Many thanks for bringing to my attention. Can't believe I overlooked revisiting a cocktail with such a poignant name. I have amended recipe accordingly.
