Ricky Cubley – mocktails back home
My name is Ricky Cubley. I'm a bartender from the UK, living and working in Melbourne, Australia at Rice Paper Scissors in Fitzroy.
I'm currently stuck in the UK at my parents' place, if I was at home I would be able to whip up something a little more creative for the Bartenders @ Home page. However, in light of all of these 'Quarantinis' going around, I decided to make a little mocktail version for my non-alcoholic homies out there!
*Just to mention, if anyone is fancy enough to already have access to 'Seedlip Garden' (non-alcoholic spirit): start recipe with 20ml of this.
* Berocca syrup: equal parts water to Demerara sugar (150ml sugar, 150ml water, 1 Berocca tablet.)
Build in the Glass:
30ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
15 ml Berocca sugar syrup *
200ml Soda water
Pinch of smacked fresh mint
Top with Ice
Garnish: Sprig of Rosemary + thyme, lemon slice
