Manly Spirits set out to capture the harmony between carefree beach life and urban sophistication in their Australian Gins, Botanical Vodkas and Whiskies.
Manly Spirits was founded by David Whittaker and Vanessa Wilton who combined their knowledge of distilling, design and marketing to produce a range of products inspired by the stunning surrounding marine environment of the New South Wales coastline.
David Whittaker

Vanessa's passion coupled with 25 years of experience in marketing and design is evident in Manly Spirits Co brand identity. Vanessa leads the Manly team on their quest for excellence in everything from customer service and experience to product development.
The beginning
Driving through the hills of Tasmania in late 2015, David and Vanessa first discussed the possibility of one day owning their own distillery. Extensive research followed, including visiting distilleries in the USA, Europe, England and Scotland. They also benefited from hands-on training from a leading distillery in Tasmania. This culminated with the launch of Manly Spirits Co. Distillery in April 2017.
Creativity
The inclusion of these marine botanicals and Australian natives ensures that Manly Spirits produce products that celebrate the uniqueness of these ingredients and showcase what Australian spirits are all about.
Manly's range of Australian premium spirits are created using artisanal methods at their set on Sydney's Northern Beaches coastline.
The team strive to keep things interesting and are continuously experimenting with new flavours, equipment and techniques. They also collaborate with renowned forager and chef, Elijah Holland, to sustainably source local marine botanicals for distillation.
