The Lost Explorer is the creation of adventurer David de Rothschild. A traveller with a passion for sustainability and collector of treasures that celebrate "nature and curiosity, " he has assembled a team of experts and eminent artisans to make products worthy of a place in his collection under The Lost Explorer brand.
David is a true explorer:
• He spent over 100 days crossing the Arctic from Russia to Canada, becoming the youngest British person to reach both geographical poles and one of only 42 people to do so
• He launched Plastiki, a 60-foot catamaran made from 12,500 reclaimed plastic bottles, and sailed across the Pacific from San Francisco to Sydney to raise awareness about the pollution of our oceans due to our dependence on disposable plastic
• He has been awarded numerous accolades, including being named a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, Emerging Explorer by National Geographic, Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and a Climate Hero of the United Nations Environment Program.
