Happy international Rum day! Thanks for the line up… I’m a big fan of a dark and stormy and last summer I was given some Yuzu Sake. I decided to make a variation on the D&S utilising the aromatic almost pine-like citrus flavour of yuzu instead of lime. The result was so successful that I actually wrote it down.
I call it a “Taifū” (the Japanese word for a typhoon)
Crushed ice
75ml dark rum
50ml Yuzu Sake
25ml yuzu juice
Top with ginger beer and garnish with a sprig of mint
