Made by macerating fresh gentian roots in grape-neutral alcohol, this maceration is then double-distilled and blended with herbs and other botanicals that have also been macerated. The blend ( formerly Saveur d'Autrefois) is aged in well-seasoned casks for 18 months.

Appearance:

Clear, bright, almost luminous, canary yellow with golden tinges.

Aroma:

Clean, aromatic gentian.

Taste:

Lightly syrupy honey sweetness with underlying bitterness. Fantastic herbal complexity.

Aftertaste:

Lingering bitterness.
