"All Square Hero" is a movement centred around change and creating a better world by creating new conversations about waste and need, and reducing waste to explore sustainability from a material perspective.
Ketel One and Nolet family believed that many things in the world could be made better. Project [All square hero] is a movement in which we all take the initiative to become the center of change and create a better world.
Korea is ranked second in the world in the number of Starbucks. Especially in Gangnam, where Alice is located, is saturated with food and drink such as bars and restaurants.
It means overheated competition, more closed structures, and also excessive waste. So I started with a small movement. I shared waste coming out of each space, but still available, and made new ingredient by using this. The material also creates different uses in each space.
This project has three main meanings.
It creates new conversations. It allows us to hear what's wasted and needed, and each other's stories. I actually had many conversations with my neighbours during this process.
It reduces waste to explore sustainability from a material perspective. In addition to the three materials used in my project, we can find many available ingredients and think about how to use them.
And the core of this project is sustainability and scalability. With the symbol of Ketel One, we the 'Nollet Club', have a sense of belonging that we are in this meaningful movement. This 'Nollet Club' also grows that pie and makes it look like we are moving from ONE SQUARE to ALL SQUARE.
As such, Project [ALL SQUARE HERO], along with Ketel One, makes us all the center of change.
