When bars and restaurants in New Jersey, USA were forced to shut down, I created a virtual tip bucket. I first started it on a local level, but the response was so overwhelming that I extended it to other areas. Now, pretty much all of New Jersey is represented on the list. I wanted to share so other bartenders, servers, tipped employees may feel inspired to create their own.
The site links people up to a bartenders' Venmo [a digital wallet that lets you make and share payments] so they can "tip" them directly. I have been busy updating the names and answering emails from people in need.
