The Lough Ree Distillery occupies a Georgian building just 50m from Lanesborough's historic, 1,000-year-old bridge crossing the River Shannon. Ahead of the completion of this main facility, the Clancy family started their distilling operation in July 2018 in a micro-distillery close by using a 150-litre hybrid copper still.
