Chris McMillian and his wife Laura are two of the best-known characters in the New Orleans bar scene. Indeed, Chris is one of the city's most regarded bartenders and over the decades his talent and hospitality has made whichever bar he has been working in a must visit. Finally, in September 2015 the couple opened Revel, their own café and bar, with their son as chef.
Revel is a local's joint well away from the tourist area, but if you're visiting the city and you'd like to experience local hospitality served with great food and cocktails, then jump in a taxi and head over to Revels, you will not be disappointed and please say hello from us.
