Hart’s is renowned for its restaurant, but you shouldn’t underestimate its drinks prowess. Its cocktail bar can accommodate around eight groups of people seated on red, leather sofas. That said, the surroundings are none-too inspiring – generic hotel-artwork hangs on white walls. Instead, focus on the drinks list.

In addition to a decent selection of wines, it carries a short list of classic cocktails – we found the cocktails to be well balanced, and mixed from good quality ingredients. The menu is split into pre-dinner drinks, cocktail classics, fruit cocktails and champagne cocktails.

We wouldn’t recommend that you go out of your way to visit Hart’s cocktail bar, but if you’re in the area, or you’re visiting the restaurant for supper, then we doubt you’d be disappointed by the drink you’re served.
