About
Popular with locals, the Kings Arms is a homely boozer with gastro pub aspirations. The food's OK but unremarkable - and that pretty much sums up this pub.
From outside the King Arms look very inviting with the warm glow from the granny-like lamp shades hung over mismatched wooden tables chairs and tables, on which candles flicker in wax covered bottles. Indeed, once inside your likely to want to stay for a drink and you'll find the choice of three cask ales (with Green King IPA a regular feature) the high point. Beyond that the beer and spirits line-up is pretty ordinary and the wines we've tried by the glass disappointing.
