De Vie is a multi-concept cocktail bar and restaurant in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. It combines an intimate underground cocktail bar, a seasonal counter dining room and a retail space showcasing French craft producers.
De Vie has attracted international attention for its ice-free cocktail programme. Rather than using conventional ice, De Vie employs a bespoke chilling system that keeps drinks below zero while reducing the energy and water associated with ice production. Its sustainability credentials also include a seasonal, low-waste food and drinks offering and refrigeration powered by renewable energy.
De Vie was founded by Alex Francis and Barney O'Kane, who previously led Paris' Little Red Door.
