Mojo was here years before Austin Powers lost his. It is a legendary rock & roll bar, a place to get downright dirty.
Outwardly unassuming, the bar runs along one wall of a room plastered in black & white prints of rock stars. An extremely mixed crowd packs in to enjoy the holiday atmosphere, driven by loud, eclectic "music for the people" and cocktails.
Mojo is unsophisticated in the extreme. It is simply a fun place and the drinks reflect this. Although bartenders are proficient mixologists, delicate Martinis just don't fit Mojo's image. Instead, chunky glasses of fruity cocktails generously charged with liquor vie with some excellent bottled beers between rounds of shots.
There are many bars that serve better cocktails, but serve cocktails in a better atmosphere.
