One of a slew of venues owned by the Geronimo group of upscale pubs, (which has just been bought by the Young's Brewery, one of Wandsworth's oldest businesses), The Prince Albert is next to Battersea Park and attracts a well-to-do 30-something with kids crowd - and their dogs - after they've been strolling in the park.

Not your average pub, this boasts some 30 wines by the glass and a rotating collection of locally sourced brews, and a great roast on a Sunday, even if the drinks offer doesn't extend far beyond spirit/mixer combinations. A decent-sized beer garden is well-placed for summers and means smokers aren't just on the pavements in winter. Efficient and friendly staff lend the place a professional feel, which hasn't always been the case in our experiences across the Geronimo group.
