The original of the Draft House chain of specialist beer bars, boasting an ever-changing selection of up to 18 draught beers and more than 40 bottled ranging from locally brewed, artisanal beers to tropically flavoured brews. With a pub atmosphere, a clientele of late 20s, Guardian-reading professionals - rather than grizzled, beardy real ale types - hoorahs their way through the list, assisted by knowledgeable bar staff who are schooled in beer production methods, what glass it should be served in and what goes well with what food.

Not sure what to try? Overwhelmed by the choice on offer? No problem, as Draft House has one-third pint glasses and also offers flights of three beers categorised under 'Unusual', 'The Ales' and 'The Darks'. We respect the chain's attempts to remedy beer's role as a 'neglected treasure'.
