Review

What was once a corporate entertainment space at the top of the 118 metre Millbank Tower has become a 'bar', but you might question the description. The all-white space on the 29th floor was previously a blank canvas for whoever wanted to dress it up, and not much has changed, save the addition of black leather sofa groups.

The huge open space, massive speakers and coloured lights suggest this is quite clearly a great nightclub masquerading during the early evening as a bar. Your suspicious will be further confirmed by huge champagne coolers on each table, most likely filled with vodka bottles later on. There is a cocktail list, though you may not be wowed by the quality of the drinks, either the classics or their 'aphrodisiacs', 'stress relievers' or 'pain killers'.

Does any of this matter? You've probably come here for the view, and boy, is it fantastic. London's changing skyline is laid out, from Big Ben along the Thames to the Shard at London Bridge and beyond. Whether you come here when it's light, or after dark, this is a welcome addition in a city which lacks many bars at altitude.
